Dear UCA Family,
Friday Morning Prayer
Every Friday morning at 8 a.m., in the lobby of the Ad Building, we get together to pray for specific people and events. This week we are praying for Rob and Heidi Knipple and the Band Clinic. We also remember the parents and families of our students. If you are on campus, we would love to have you join us. If not, please pray with us where ever you are. This will be our prayer focus the coming week as well. “For I hold you by your right hand-I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.'” Isaiah 41:13 NLT

Palisades Christian Academy/Upper Columbia Academy Devotional Book
Our student-written devotional book, Guided Thoughts on God, is now for sale. It is available at UCA and Amazon for a $10 donation. All profits benefit worthy student scholarships (If you order at Amazon, they keep 40% of the profits for processing fees https://www.amazon.com/dp/1671676335 ). The devotional book includes entries from all freshman and sophomores at PCA and UCA and many of UCA’s juniors and seniors. The students’ testimonies not only bless the reader, but allow the reader a unique opportunity to pray for one of our students each day as a devotional is read.
UCA Band Clinic January 30-February 1, 2020
This year the UCA Music Dept. will be hosting a band clinic for 7th-10th graders in the Upper Columbia Conference. Around 60 students plus their sponsors will be coming the UCA campus for two days of practice and learning culminating in a sacred concert during the Sabbath worship hour on Saturday, Feb. 1.
Students will have the opportunity to collaborate with their peers from other schools musically, and build new lasting friendships. Participants will be coming from 8 of our conference elementary and Jr. academy schools along with several home schoolers and students from Alaska.
The goal of the clinic is to not only prepare students for their involvement in the UCA Music Ministry program, but to allow them to experience the boarding academy life.
