Art-Home Ec
[pagelist 30]Creative Cooking, Fashion Design, Pottery, and Oil Painting are just a few of the classes offered in the Home Ec/Art Building. Seven kitchen units enable students to learn useful cooking skills from baking bread to preparing exotic international foods. In addition to regular sewing machines, the Home Ec Department is equipped with specialized equipment and software for embroidery and quilting. Students are offered a variety of art classes, and their work is displayed in the Administration Building and at the Spring Arts Festival.
